A bit about the team:

The Iron Enclave is an Independent Video Game Development team founded in 2010 by a small cluster of tech professionals and avid appreciators of fine video gaming. Over the years, we've colectively played thousands of hours of games, ranging from early Commodore 64 cassette games to the more recent graphics-intensive PC games. We may not have the most experience in the industry yet, but we certainly know what it takes to make a great game. Using our acquired skills as computer programmers and graphic designers, we're working on games inspired by the ones we love to play. We focus on gameplay and story above all else, and we actively work to break away from the industry's cliches of "cookie-cutter" designs and stale gameplay. We think it's more important to create an intuitive, immersive, and creative gaming experience that's fun regardless of our graphics potential. We don't build games in Unreal Engine, we work from scratch, and hand-draw almost every facet in the game. It's an arduous process that takes time and patience, and one that can really only be accomplished by a close-knit team like ours.

Games are about balance, and of course we work to make sure that the player is always immersed in an original universe full of ever-pressing challenges. In order to fulfil this goal, games obviously require enormous attention to detail, as well as gratuitous amounts of polishing. Here at The Iron Enclave, we work closely together to ensure that we all feel equally assurred that each and every aspect of the game works properly, and that they all fit together as a whole to create one cohesive experience. Through this methodology, we're able to provide players with the most rewarding and thought-provoking games possible.

Our tech is currently pretty simple and straightforward, which is perfect for when you're handcrafting games from scratch. We're able to get deeply involved in every aspect of development, and the attention to detail gets reflected immensely in the final product. When you have skilled craftsmen working on a product without influence from outside agents, you're absolutely bound to get nothing but the best. And like many indie developers, we're sticking to that philosophy, and we promise to give you what we feel is the most fun for your cash.

We're a completely independent group working out of our own pockets for the sake of creating high-quality games. That means that our games are not guided by sales or by corporate media interests, but by what the gamers want, and by what's fun to play. This also means that we're not going to be making blockbuster titles with million-dollar budgets. As of right now, we do not take donations, but we will take suggestions! If you have a suggestion for something that absolutely needs to be a game, just send it to support@ironenclave.com and give us your opinion! Is it possible that this is the internet, and that most of your opnions are either stupid or offensive? Yes! But does that mean that this inbox is just a giant paper shredder? Yes! I mean, no, we truly care about everything that you have to say, sincerely. Your opinions are totally not idiotic and we'd love to hear about every idea for a game you've come up with since you were six. But in all honesty, you can send us an idea or two, and we'll try our hardest to get back to you (really!).

Our current project goes by the working title of "Zero-Index," and it is a retro-styled plat-shooter that's heavily inspired by the slowly-paced, yet consistant action gameplay that's present in classics like Metroid and Castlevania. We aim to distribute specifically to mobile devices, however many of the details are still unclear.

To read more about our current project, "Zero-Index," head on over to the Development Blog.

...And Of course, when our game finally does hit the market,

GIVE IT TO US. DO IT.
